Who Gives Kudos:

May 7, 2008 - Wednesday
Back when I was running with DarkerSound and all that shit that went down with NATAS and Mastamind, I was pretty much given nothing but empty promises, the latest NATAS album N of Tha World and Mastamind's Worthy, which never saw the light of day were both supposed to be my projects, and man was I hyped about the whole thing.

Been a big fan of RLP for years, Esham, Mastamind and TNT, and they still are among my favorite of musicians, and being told that I'd be doing their artwork sent me to another planet, I was at an all time high, I thought everything was as good as it could have been, then time went on, and all the talk continued to be just that, talk.

I even set up DarkerSound's official site, forums, began desiging a so called "official" Dayton Family site that they probably bullshtt'ed about even going to run with, and designed some cool shirts and Mastamind related clothing too that also never went into production because all DSE really sold was wolf tickets.  Shit, I was down with these cats, I was ready to take a trip up north and fight some cat that they were having problems wtih.  And to this day it kind of bothers me a bit that I never got to do those two specific projects, and was just lied to the entire time, I felt that my time was robbed from me, the one chance I had at putting my own fingerprints on an immortal legacy was taken.

Pretty much the only good thing to come out of my dealings with Shaheed and BJ of DarkerSound was meeting Scott Bejda and Skandoulz, both of whom I'm still down for, and if any of you'se are reading this now, Scott, hit me man it's been too long, and Shandal, you know I'm always down to do some work, hit me whenever, I got them numbers you gave me and I'm grateful as fuck for them.

Back on topic though, as I said, I felt like I was robbed of my chance to get in to what I've respected and enjoyed for so many years, who knows, I know the right folks, so things may fall into place eventually, bottom line is I missed my first chance, but I know for a fact I would have rocked the shit out of those graphic designs, I may just do some mock up covers of what those two may have looked like just for the fuck of it, if I do, I'll post them up...

It sucks that things haven't worked out with the NATAS and Mastamind's worthy cover albums. Hopefully, you will get more offers to do more cover work.

I got some shit I'm working on right now so I'm good, as I said I was at least able to meet good folks who continue to hook me up with good work, so as far as that goes I'm straight, just a bit pissed off still that I could have had the damn chance to put my place holder in that legacy...
