I just wanted to take the opportunity to share a few of the things that God has done in the past few days. Each week there seems to be more and more that is going on.
Last week a shared a story about praying for a girl with an abscess on her head. The girl's mother found me on Thursday and said that the infection is COMPLETELY GONE! Hallelujah!
I heard on Thursday from some of the first year students that 2 deaf ears opened up at one of the local grocery stores that afternoon. Praise God that you can get your ears healed on the cereal aisle!
Last night I was praying for a man with heart burn. He felt the pain almost completely leave his body.
A little while later I was praying for a woman who was responded to some of the things mentioned during the sermon. Then she mentioned that she also needed healing in her body. When she said that, I heard the Lord say, "breast cancer" and so I asked her if that was the case. She responded that it was and how encouraged she was that the Lord knows her case. The Lord was visibly touching her with His presence. Today I got to see her again and I felt the Lord saying she had problems with her left collarbone. She had broken it as a child and the bones did not set right. After prayer she was able to lift it straight up over head without any pain. Praise God!
Also last night I prayed for a woman with no cartilage in her right hip. While praying before the service I felt like God wanted to heal someone's right hip. I shared this with her and she was also very encouraged. Although she was being touched by God as I prayed, her condition was not improving. Then, a friend of mine came over and began to pray with me. She prayed for her hips to be aligned. Then when the woman tested it out by walking down the aisle she had an excited look on her face as most of the pain was gone. She then tested it more by walking up and down some stairs. This really blew her away as she had barely been able to get up and down stairs at all before and now she was able to do it quickly and with little pain. Praise God!
This morning as I prayed I felt the Lord touch my lower back on the spine. I honestly don't know where certain vertebrae are, but I had the thought, "L4 and L5". That is a common one that a pastor calls out, so I didn't think much of it. However one man I prayed for this morning said that he had pain in his lower back. I explained to him what had happened a few hours earlier and he said that it is his L5 and S1. I knew God wanted to heal him at that point. After a few minutes all of the pain in his back, hip, and leg were gone completely and he had all of the feeling back in the foot that had been numb due to this injury. Hallelujah!
A woman who has suffered from TMJ for 20 years also came for prayer. She immediately noticed that she could open her mouth much wider and had no pain in doing so. Praise God!
A married couple came in for prayer as well. The woman was having severe abdominal pain for the past several days. However, first God was wanting to heal the hearing of one of them. I asked who it was and the man said that it was him. I prayed for his ear and it immediately opened up. He started to weep tears of joy because Jesus just healed his ear that had been partially deaf for 50 years! Then God showed me that he also had pain on his shin. He showed me what it was that he couldn't do because of the pain and I said a short prayer before having him test it out again and this time there was no pain! I then prayed for his wife and all the pain in her abdomen left. Thank you Jesus!
I prayed for another man who has had severe ringing in his ears for a "long time". After praying it was now just a whisper. Praise God!
There were so many other things that God did as well. A person with fibromyalgia no longer had any pain in their body. Another deaf ear opened up. People with pain in their backs were healed. Others with emotional trauma were set free. I've got a news flash, God is in a good mood!
