Today was my one year anniversary of becoming vegan.

I celebrated it by standing outside in the snow-turned-freezing-rain for 2 hours protesting a fur store.

Then I went to the Chicago Diner with Emelda and had yummy vegan food.

Then I spent waiting forever standing outside waiting for the el to un-break itself and send a brown line train...

Now I'm snuggling with Avocado, enjoying a nice cup of tea, and slowly thawing out.

Not too bad of a day, I'll say. :o)
