Current mood:tired and happy
So surprised to hear how many folks are turning in their entries for my little "Your life in six words" contest.  I'm not allowed to see them yet, but can't wait.  Played MerleFest this weekend and am reeling from the excitement of it all, still.  CLB did a fantastic job...  Girls for Merle rocked as well.  Could I be any happier?  Doubt it.

Claire, I was in the Merlefest for your Hillside and Watson Stage sets and also for the Girls for Merle set. You and the band were just wonderful, and it was an extra treat to see Missy play a song with you. And Mark is a terrific addition to the band! It was especially gratifying to see the warmth of the audience's response to your music -- they love you, and deservedly so. Thanks for coming and for gracing us with your songs.

We were there for the Hillside and Watson Stage, Girls for Merle, and the vocal workshop.

It was a special treat to meet you again, and be able to say THANK YOU for the great music.

I've been listening a long time, and the front porch has never sounded better.
