First, an introduction to Bob. Bob was an ordinary Joe (or, Bob, if you will) who was depressed. Bob's inconsiderate neighbours played Partial Reptile's debut album, Industrial Lullabies, really, really loudly one night. Unable to drown it out, an already depressed Bob killed himself to escape the noise.
Bob made it to Heaven, and was granted eternal bliss on condition that he never again viewed the mortal coil. However, while in Heaven, Bob heard a disturbing rumour that Partial Reptile, the act responsible for his death, was releasing a new single and even working on a new EP. Bob couldn't resist peeping, to know for sure. And it was true, Partial Reptile had released a new Double A-Side; We Make the Sun / The Winter Snow and both were indeed from an 'in the works' EP called Pseudomusic.
When we last left Bob, he was in Hell, where he'd been sentenced to an eternity of listening to Partial Reptile. Now, Bob's story continues…
Bob's ears were bleeding, he'd been listening to the same 56 minutes of Partial Reptile noise, 24/7 for a whole two months now. If he wasn't already dead, he'd kill himself.
To upgrade his punishment, Satan FM had added the new Partial Reptile single, We Make the Sun, to the play list, and he hated that even more than Industrial Lullabies.
With the addition, however, he did get the occasional break when every six hours the noise was interrupted by a newscast of Partial Reptile updates. Over the next few weeks he learned that recording of the EP had finished, and that it was due to be mastered and released sometime in the next couple of months.
Bob was pissed! So much so that he began to devise a plan to escape Hell and return to the mortal coil, to stop Partial Reptile. Unfortunately, his plan was discovered, and as punishment; The promotional video for the single We Make the Sun was played over and over again while he listened to the audio.
