Hi every one
Tyler has done really good this week .He has had a pain free week .Thank God .we haven't heard anything from Doctor Oneal yet hoping to hear soon.I heard that John Hopkings was a great hospital .Maybe the Doctors there will be able to help Tyler. Thank each of you that have sent snail mail Tyler was one of the children that was child of the month on make a child smile. He has received lots of cards and sticker and has enjoyed all of them. You all are wonderful and so caring God bless each of you. Pat thank you for the movie you made of you and the kids and all the movies you sent Tyler .He loves you and was happy to see you on the movie. That was a awesome thing to do. Tell Amanda and Blake Tyler watched it and waved at them Tyler says thank you for the well wishes. We are taking one day at a time and leaving Tyler in Gods hands.Please keep storming heaven for Tyler with prayers God hears those prayers,Thank all of you that have helped with gas and food to go to MUSC hospital with Tyler its eight hrs round trip. We appreciate you so much Tyler wouldn't been able to get there if it wasn't that you all cared so much. We have another appointment on Nov 12th to see Dr Gross Hes the leg surgeon. Tyler had a wonderful birthday thanks to Steven who sent him some money to go shopping and to Trisha who sent a great birthday box and Trisha with a 360 game. Tyler's growing up hes 8 now and has all ready ask for a laptop I been looking but don't think we will be able to get it for him the cheapest I found was four hundred and ninety ninety dollars. We sure cant afford that. He will understand and be happy with what he gets, I just worry to much .
I want to ask that you all put carol cox in your prayers hes Tyler's great grandpa he has cancer and is in really bad shape they cant give him any more chemo and the cancer is growing its in his stomach and hip and legs.

GOOD NEWS
Hi just got back from MUSC. I think Tyler's going to be going to john Hopkins hospital in Maryland. Ashley signed releases to day of records.so I pray it all works out. letter I received from john Hopkins hospital is pasted at the bottom of page.Tyler's in a lot pain in his neck hes own strong meds and his leg is hurting. we go back to musc I think its the 15t.
Dr. Redett, Dr. Tufaro and possibly Dr.
Rodriguez of Johns Hopkins Hospital may be able to help Tyler. Dr. Redett is a pediatric plastic surgeon, Dr. Tufaro is an oral surgeon and a plastic surgeon who specializes in cancer of the head and neck. And Dr. Rodrieguez is also a plastic surgeon. All 3 surgeons have a great bedside manner and are willing to help Tyler. They would need to see Tylers medical records prior to scheduling an appointment . If you can get a complete record of his history, past surgeries and any recent CT scans or MRI's. They would need to see the actual studies (CD OR FILMS) not just the reports from the scans. As long as your insurance approves you to come out of state for treatment, the surgeons are willing to treat Tyler.

Hi Tyler surgery went ok he was in surgery about two hours thirty mims.Dr oneal took out a piece of medal
And three screws.He said we may have to bring him back and do more because his jaw may hurt worst.He said to bring Tyler home Ashley knows how to take care of him.His jaw doesn't look to good.Last night Tyler told me not to worry he said its ok nanny I don't mind.It wont hurt bad.He then gave me the biggest hug.I love him with all my heart
Doctor Oneal said that he had been own the phone hrs trying to find some one that could fix Tyler's jaw but hasn't found any one.They wont take the medicate.He said that hes not giving up on Tyler that hes going to keep trying.He said that he could go back and take a hip or rib and try again but it would fail so he doesn't want to do it.That is also what doctor Marx was going to do and doctor Oneal says it just wont work for Tyler this has been 29 surgeries for Tyler.With out some one taking the Medicaid at south Carolina rates Tyler wont get a Doctor to fix his jaw its really all about money.This is getting worst every day.I fear for the worst Tyler needs a special surgeon not a cancer doctor.The cancer is in remission but the after math of the cancer monster is all full.We are left with know where to turn.Isn't there just one doctor out there that would help this child out of the goodness of there heart.I pray we get some answers before its to late for my little Tyler.We have Contac Medicaid and yes they will pay for us to go some where.The thing is they wont pay what that states Medicaid pays so they wont take Tyler.Please pray about this and for Tyler his jaw is hurting really bad right now.Tyler's having to take really strong pain medication.Thank all of Tyler's angels that love and care about him you know who you are we love you all so much.Your prayers and support Is why Tyler is here today.God has listen to every one of those prayers .

Sorry for all the slow updates ,we are getting ready to have Tyler's benefit .At our church its 430 in the morning here and I cant sleep .I sure hope things go good we will have to stop and get things cleaned up around two there Having services for a baby that passed away around five .but we just thank god that we are able to have the benefit sale .Our church has been just wonderful .I thank god for such a wonderful church family .and for all of you Your love and support .
Tyler will be having surgery again on his jaw at musc hospital of Charleston on Monday morning.once again we will be making the long trip back to Charleston .They did this a little while back and removed some bone that was sticking through his skin .now the medal plate is sticking through and it hurting him to eat or talk so they have to take it out .The doctor said that its according to how Tyler dose if he will be in or out of the hospital .They will be cutting his jaw again .it doesn't seen to even matter to Tyler Hes like just go ahead and get it our with .what a trooper he is .Please pray that he will for him and our family .Tyler needs a doctor,[surgeon] to fix his jaw but so far they haven't found one that thinks he can do it . I would cut my arm or leg off or give him any baby part if I could make it all go away .gosh how I wish we were rich ,Bet I could find Tyler a doctor then .am so feared hes going to end up on a feeding tube or even worst .Hes my heart our baby . Tyler birthday is Oct 9th and mine is Oct 6th, cant believe hes going to be eight. I don't know how many pictures ill be getting of Tyler hes getting where he don't want them taken because of his scars hes still a nice looking little boy. Nathan and Jayden are growing getting so big. also little sweet heart.

Friday, September 12, 2008 5:03 AM CDT HI , Every thing is OK for now around here. Tyler cant hardly eat but is managing To get a few things down.Its just that his mouth is so sore.His jaw and his legs Have been hurting him. Hes taking his pain medication and that is helping. I took him to the dollar store yesterday and he got him and Jayden a few things They played all day on the deck and Tyler had a wonderful pain free day.Thank you Jesus. We haven't heard from doctor Oneal yet.Hes suppose to be trying to find a doctor to Help Tyler.Please keep Tyler in your prayers.Unless they find help for Tyler things can Only get worst for him.We need a miracle for Tyler before he ends up on a feeding tube.We have appointments coming up at musc.Just because they want to keep an eye on Tyler's jaw.The bone has died and now there words were that they were not going to address Tyler's jaw any more for fear of making things worst.That there no doctor in SC that can do what Tyler needs done.Tyler needs a surgeon to fix his jaw not cancer doctor.Medicaid said that they would pay for Tyler to have it done in Texas but then Texas wouldn't take Tyler after saying they would .Because Medicaid pays a lot more in Texas.so we don't know what to do.Seems like some of the doctors don't even care.Looks like they would get Tyler a doctor.All I can do is to do what I have done for the last five years leave it in gods hands.Tyler will be having a birthday October 9th.He will be eight.We are not having a party.He wants to go shopping.Tyler has a wonderful friend named Steven that sent him some money to go shopping.He says hes going to by a new game for his xbox 360. THANK YOU STEVEN FOR LOVING TYTY .There s a lot of people that love Tyler and have helped you know who you are and we thank each one of you and love you all.Tyler loves all the snail mail thank you all for putting a smile own his face.I thank god each day for all our angels that have help us so much .God bless you all.
