So, I have read another book.  It is called The Art Of Racing In The Rain.  It made me cry.  Shut up, it happens.

As for everything else, same.  The only difference is the odd favor I do here and there.  And stopping in to see Cat and Souxie.  I now know what the Dead Kennedys sound like.  Hmm.

Work, work, work. I had stuff I was gonna share but now I can't remember any of it.  Maybe later.

Edit!

More stuff, entered new contest, hmmm, I wonder.  I'm not posting my entry because I'm embarrassed by how sloppy it is.  I didn't have a good idea until it was three days to the deadline and it was hasty and thrown together and I could have done better.

Also, I have come to the conclusion that best friends are best friends because they know too much, ALL best friends.  Forever is forever when you've got yourself a promising arch nemesis.  ^_^  Love to you my best friend, Pod Mate.  lol

Another book too, DeVil Bones by Kathy Reichs, so far not too shabby.

Dog is bigger, growing like a weed.  So pleased.  Water is her most troublesome enemy.  ^_^  I filled the kitty pool with water and she jumped in and started 'digging' and growling and snapping at it.  She's also running out of food, I gotta pick up another bag tomorrow.

Fourth of July was fun.  I actually had the day off so we went swimming (low bridge, low water, low something) and while I thought it would go smoother than it used to it was the way it always was.  "If you don't move we'll leave you!"  Good times had by all.
It wasn't bad; though for a bunch of people who went to go swimming, none of them got in the water except the kids, me, Kanawl, V, and Shawn.  Everyone else kept to the land.  There was a cookout and it rained, which might I add was awesome from the water.  I got a couple of ideas from it.  It was funny how everyone rushed for the tent.  I stuck to the water, because as long as it wasn't lightning it was cool.  I played hippo.  (you know, silly goose; eyes and nose above the water, everything else submerged ^_^)  It rained again afterwards and this time there was lightning and we piled into our respective vehicles and hightailed it home.  There were fireworks that night, of course, and I got this really good one called Purple Haze, I'm gonna get it again next year.  More than one too.

Is anyone going to the San Diego ComiCon?  That's so awesome, I want to go but it'll have to be next year.  It looks like so much fun!  The contest I entered is for TokyoPop and Pocky and the winner will be announced at the Con.   If you're going and are at all interested, look it up.  You'll be the only one to see my entry if it's shown.

The move has been postponed, though at best only a month.  One last family shebang before I make my way back to the old west.

Sounds so romantic, but really, yeah, no, I want it to sound romantic so screw you guys.  I like the old west.  Sukiyaki Western Django!  I wonder what happened to my duster?  It's like a trench coat but like they wore in Tombstone yeah.  It wasn't quite the same but similar to it.

Anyway, that's all for now.  I'm going to go read or something.  Later duckies.  It's been...crunchy.
