Yup, you read correctly - we're changing our name. Some of you will know this was coming for a while, but many will not. In a nutshell - its time to knuckle down and make a name for ourselves, literally. Renaming is just part of our new commitment to making things happen and since MHS has never done us many favours, its time for a change.

Starting as of the next gig on 4th August (see below), we'll be known as...

The Fourth Chamber

Theres a website already in production in parallel to this one (TheFourthChamber.com) but the MHS website will eventually vanish, replaced with TFC.

Our next gig is on 4th August at The Clapham Grand. Its another of those 'big ones' but we won't be putting on a coach this time round. We're playing a little earlier than before, which increases the chance of the coach not making it on time and fans being pissed off! We're playing with Livingston who we've had ties with for years, but never gigged with before.

After that is a gig at The Cellar in Oxford - a venue which never fails to pull a crowd and a great atmosphere.

In September, there will hopefully be an as-yet-not-fully-organised gig in Thom's home-town of Darlington! We'll be playing with another superb band - Solanoid - who were in fact the first band we played with ever in 2004. Again, Solanoid are mates of the band and it will be cool to play with them again on home turf. Theres even a chance of making it a double-gig, with another one the next day. We'll keep you informed.
