TGZ warmly welcomes John Townsend and Matt Zeiner to the family!

JOHN TOWNSEND may be best remembered for his Top Ten hit with Ed Sanford - "Smoke From A Distant Fire" in 1977. Townsends powerful and soul infused vocal abilites have led him on an impressive musical journey allowing him to open for The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Fleetwood Mac as well as gig along side southern rockers the Marshall Tucker Band and the Charlie Daniels Band;  And, the ride doesn't stop there. Townsend has also spent time co-writing with Kenny Loggins, Larry Carlton, and Gregg Allman. 

MATT ZEINER has a passion for music that has allowed him to groove along side Matt "Guitar" Murphy of Blues Brothers fame and Dickey Betts & Great Southern.  Zeiner also keeps busy writing and recording original songs some of which feature Jeff Pevar of Jazz is Dead.
