Man can't I just go to sleep for 2 more years and not have to deal with school? I'm now a junior, fascinating isn't it? But yeah, I'm 20 and in college and blah blah blah. This is one of the prime years for suffering right now and oh boy have I been suffering.

California was phenomenonal and I loved every minute of it. Driving in California is pretty cool too, aside from all the road rage and honking of horns at inappropriate times (all the time). The scenery on the way down is just awe-inspiring, especially when you're perked up on Amp - that stuff is so amazingly goood!

Yeah so anyways, me and my bud Chris headed out west to Sacramento, our first stop and it kinda sucked on ice. Smelled like piss and there was hardly anywhere to skate. Parking was a pain and we got lost a lot. We called 411 for a local IN-N-OUT and our day was saved. I believe this was our first of many IN-N-OUT side trips. IT was MINDMELTING! Yes! I adore IN-N-OUT burger and any opportunity that you can take to eat a double-double animal style with a chocolate shake is well worth the wait. I have a very special relationship with IN-N-OUT.

So moving on, we left Sacto for the town of Walnut Creek, where our friend Zach lives. He is the coolest dude ever by the way. It took a little over an hour to get there (traffic) and we decided to scope out the town because Zach was not home yet. Let me tell you, Walnut Creek is basically one GIANT shopping center. That place is filled with streets and streets of stores, and really fancy + expensive stores. Not to mention about 5 or 6 high end car dealerships everywhere. Yeah, Walnut Creek is...well...nuts actually! Ah that's funny. So Chris and me chilled at Zach's for 3 days. We did tons of stuff. We went to the local skatepark - ripped it up, checked out Rasputin Records - sick sick store!, went to San Fran for the day - very cool, and yeah we watched movies like Rushmore and Super Troopers every night. Fun.

After the Creek, we headed to Chris' aunt's house in Claremont - kind of a long drive (7 or 8 hours I think) We had lots of fun there. We went to Huntington Beach and bodyboarded - so hard and so fun, checked out some skateparks, and then we went to Six Flags Magic Mountain. That place was gnar for sure. We did so much in so little time. We hit up Goliath twice right after the park opened. Then we hit Superman 3 times, a ride called Scream twice, Deja Vu once - it was intense!, then the Riddler, Batman, and a new one called Tatsu where you're a facing downward and it feels like you're flying! Yeah Six Flags rocked.

After Six Flags, we went to our friends dorm at Biola and went and saw Little Miss Sunshine - which is by far the coolest and funniest movie I've seen this summer and in awhile! It was my second time seeing it. Good flick! Go see it! Right now! Well after you read my blog. So we saw that, came back, played smash bros., came back to Claremont, packed our things and left for Oregon, and approximately 18+ hours later we were back in good 'ol Clackamas.

And that is the chronicling of the last week of my summer before I came back to George Fox for a wonderfully, brand new Junior year of college! Yahoo for school! So there you have it. I don't claim to live a good life, but if that's what I have then I thank God daily that I have the chance to live it! Sweetness! Ok so now I'm going to play guitar hero and then do my homework. Peace my friends.
