Chicago, IL – Chicago based rock band Horse In The Sea will play its final show of the year at Empty Bottle on December 18, 2008. The band will spend much of the winter months recording their new record.
Horse In The Sea released their debut album, I Order The Sun To Shine On Everyone on November 23, 2007 to a packed crowd at Schubas Tavern. Since this release the band has achieved a cult following in the Chicagoland indie-rock scene, consistently performing in many of the best rooms in the city. Along with their local ambition, relentless regional touring added over twenty-five thousand miles on the tour van odometer. The past 15 months has seen the band tour the Midwest, East Coast, Southeast, and Central Plains three times over, including a supporting slot with singer/songwriter Josh Rouse.
In 2008, the band released recordings on the ASCAP Rocket Pop compilation and Old Murkville Forest children's album which included such artists as; the 1900's, Denison Witmer, Anathallo, Page France, and Company of Thieves.
