i wish i could defragment my brain like one would a computer...clear the history, run a virus scan, get rid of all the contaminated files, reboot, and get back to this thing called life with a new perspective...i might end up being a little worse for the wear upon my return, maybe even a little slower, vulnerable or dated, but i'd have a cleaner plate...at least, that's what i think, anyway...

There's no reason why you shouldn't. Yes we all have past experiences (neg) but its up to us as individuals to create the outcome of our perspectives in a manner that suits us.(in my opinion) you need a vacation bro.

So I take it your new outlook on life didn't last? that sucks. I love those self-realizations though. it's like you feel like you have the key to life. and it's what life is actually suppose to be like, not what everyone else makes it out to be. but then something small happens... or someone keeps nagging... whatever the case may be, they/it drags you back to where you use to be and you're pissed (at least I'm always pissed.) because it's disappointing and it makes life that much more depressing...

but at least you know there is more

There is no defrag.

There is no reboot.

There is no reset.

"You wake up at Seatac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time. You wake up at Air Harbor International.
If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?" - The Narrator

"Warning: If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this useless fine print is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all that claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think every thing you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told to want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned." - Tyler.
