Shawn Barbers's solo exhibit of oil paintings "Tattooed Portraits"

Artist Reception will be held March 21, 2009 from 7-11pm.

We at RedLetter1 are proud to present Shawn Barber's solo exhibit of
"Tattooed Portraits". His critically acclaimed series of paintings
"Tattooed Portraits" reflects the contrast between realistic
figurative paintings, art history, tattoo culture and the joy of
painting.

Shawn holds a B.F.A from the Ringling College of Art in Sarasota,
Florida and an A.A.S. from Cazenovia College in New York. His
paintings are held in private collections throughout the United
States, Canada, Asia, Europe and Austrailia. Shawn has taught drawing,
illustration and painting for 8 years at various schools through out
the United States. Shawn currently lives in San Francisco.

We look forward to having one of our favorite artists, Shawn Barber in
Tampa for his exhibit "Tattooed Portraits". This exhibit will be on
display March 21st through May 1st 2009. Opening reception with Shawn
Barber is March 21st 2009 from 7-11 pm.

Shawn will also be giving an oil painting demo the following day,
