You know, we've had 27,000 plays on MySpace.

27,000 people have listened to us, a band with no release, no singer, no frontperson telling them to jump up and down in unison, no video clip, no advertising, no airplay, no press coverage – nothing.

And yet, here we are sitting at 27,000 plays. Just pause for a moment and imagine what a crowd of 27,000 people looks like. That's riot material!

Those 27,000 streams have come about all through word of mouth, created and influenced by people like you who care about music enough to put in the time, the effort and the dedication it takes to listen to something totally foreign, outside of the box and utterly isolated.

Nobody told you to listen to {STRANGE}, no TV commercial pushed you along, no major record label commanded you to buy it, no celebrity name checked us – you found your own way into our dark little family.

That in itself is such a powerful thing, because there is nobody else in the room right now, it's just you, face to face with us.

Last week, we announced the title of our forthcoming debut EP (5 years in the process) naming it "Hidden Virtues And Illusionary Means". Whilst we were reading your comments, e-mails and reaction to the title, we realised that those 4 tracks on the page had been up for over a year…

Lower production values, different line up, different versions of the songs – all woefully inaccurate of the present incarnation of the music. So, although the it's release is mere weeks away, we thought it was time (and as a very personal thankyou to each and every single one of you) we posted an unmastered mashup of the EP as one single track on our MySpace page

You won't find this anywhere else, its just for you guys, so you can download it – it's your to keep, to pass around, to get excited about it, e-mail it to your friends and get the buzz happening. You've waited so long, we've waited so long and now at least we can FINALLY give something back to you for all the strength, support and encouragement you've shown us over the years.

Think of this mashup, as the stripshow before the hardcore sex kicks in...
