SourPop Records signs Bilingual (indie-electro-hardcore) band LIPSTICK TERROR after an outstanding show at popular Hollywood rock club The Knitting Factory.
The band kicks off their Western Region tour in July sharing the stage with the band 'Attractive & Popular' ( GSL recording artist, label owned by Omar Rodriguez, of Mars Volta & Sonny Kay of the band Year Future).

Los Angeles, CA June 1, 2007. SourPop Records introduces its newest member of its musical family LIPSTICK TERROR.
The band joined SourPop Records after their outstanding performance at the popular Hollywood rock club The Knitting Factory as part of the 2nd Anniversary of Latin Alternative magazine Bazuka held a few weeks ago.
LIPSTICK TERROR is a five piece bilingual indie-electro-hardcore band who is a perfect example of the future of music with multi-cultural roots, a border town upbringing and a hardworking ethic. Originally from the border town of Mexicali (Calexico/Mexico) the band is characterized for their powerful synth-heavy, distorted guitar sounds and a wild lead singer with an electrifying stage presence.
LIPSTICK TERROR 's sound is hypnotizing with musical influences that navigate between the most authentic of rock genres: punk, grind, death metal, hardcore, indie, electronic and new wave with influences from Born Against, The Locust to Los Crudos. The band is currently working on their debut EP on SourPop Records to be released in the United States, Mexico, Europe and Japan in July of 2007.
