Just Curious... Do you ever get tired of the "Weird" Monicer? It is more like; Very tallented, Creative and well grounded. I know that don't fit, But after meeting you a couple of times, you are the kind of guy I would hang out with on the "normal" side as well :)
 

.. Adam Goldstein could have made far better choices. I'm sure surviving a plane wreck while others died is traumatic, but you survived. Be happy. The same thing happened to Kirk Douglas in his SEVENTIES! (I think) and he's still around at 92.

It was a really bad decision for DJ AM, pushing 40, to fall in love-which is apparently what he did-with a 22 year old girl. For any guy pushing that age to have such an ego problem that may must have a younger girl, is a recipe for disaster. There's two likely scenarios-the girl is a social climber/gold digger and she will act accordingly and use the relationship for opportunities. This will further damage the guy's ego, especially if he's got substance abuse issues. The other scenario is she's 22-she really doesn't want to be tied down to a 36 year old guy because she's still learning about herself-both having fun and finding out what she's capable of and where she wants to go in life. It's unrealistic to expect her to devote a huge chunk of time to someone who has far different pursuits. And in this case, it's really unfair to her as well because now she's dealing with the trauma of this guy committing suicide, essentially, while displaying photos of her nearby. SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG-other than get involved over her head with a guy that really didn't have her best interests at heart to start with, or he would have been her friend-not her boyfriend, at least not on a committed basis. He had achieved a level of success in a very tough industry (I was a good radio disc jockey, but I sort of suck at mixing) and that is a huge reason to celebrate life. I don't know how much Dr. Drew had to do with any of this, but I think it's a really bad idea to (a) use a substance abuse doctor known for publicity (b) unethical for that doctor to talk about your treatment publicly. That's my main issue with Dr. Drew-treating patients in public is unethical as is diagnosing people you've never met-i.e, any Lovelines caller, celebrities like Tom Cruise, etc.

Is Dr. Drew an asshole? You decide. When two patients in a hospital die, he immediately denies any responsibility-despite the fact they checked into that hospital just because of HIM. "I hold him responsible", quotes Alex Clyburn's mother, a former neuropsychiatric nursing supervisor at UCLA, who would know about these things. But, when the patient is a CELEBRITY and they die, suddenly Dr. Drew is their "best friend"...

Dr. Drew Pinsky is one huge hypocrite. Not only does he stick substance abuse patients on television for financial gain AND then writes books about why it's wrong to do so-he also immediately dodged any responsibility when two patients died within 24 hours in April 2008 on the Las Encinas Hospital unit he co-chairs-this DESPITE THE FACT these patients checked in because they thought Dr. Drew could help them-just because of HIM. In reality, he didn't even know his unit was being so poorly run a patient would be dead for almost 12 hours before anyone checked on him. i've seen the track listing and while it is good, I do think some stuff has been left off and some should be changed. a little disappointing but not to worry I still will buy. AL ROCKS!!!!

I have had the extra gory version for years on the Amish Paradise cd single!
 

I feel torn!  The only song I don't already own on that list is the gory version of TNSWC, which I do want badly.  I'm almost compelled to buy it because it is your album.  Not to mention.. You are releasing the album on my birthday, which makes me want to buy just for that reason alone....

Hiya, my hubby and I are BIG fans of yours!  We've been listening to you since the early 80's, had to explain the cassette thing to our son!  He thinks you're awesome too.  I've seen you in concert 1 time August 8, 2000, it was my first and best concert.  yeah, I've seen Hank jr, Leonard Skynyrd, bunch of other stuff, but you RANK #1!
     I was wondering, we live near Lexington Kentucky.  What's the tour like?  Any chance we will get to see another awesome performance?  I was singing every word to every song at that concert in 2000, yeah probably need to get out more but its what I love listening to.  There were people that had better seats than we did, and were like who's this guy again?  I was like OMG dude its Weird Al!  Why are you here again, sing along mmkay?!

I know it's been years, but I have one complaint about CNR, the nipple and making love to a manatee was so unnecessary and very uncool. I was a Weird Al fan all the way back to My Bologna. I understand that you're all grown up now, and so am I, but I'd like to share you with my kids, and bestiality is kind of off limits. Maybe I expect too much from you, but I thought you were smarter than 99% of the rest of the world. What's next? Climbing out of a car with no undies on?

Other than that, loved Craigslist. But Jim Morrison & CNR are for ppl that actually remember the 70's. Your newer fans dont know what vinyl, payphones, or the Flintstones are.

..I was lucky, all the way out here in australia, up in Darwin in the outback, to find at my local music store, the extra gory version of TNSWC, as a single with an instrumental version of dare to be stupid!........WOOOOO! must dig that out and use DTBS as a ring tone...
 

oh and yes, I'll definatly be buying this 'Cheesy Compilation' on account they have been remastered, GLEE!
