Did you see HBO's Sometime In April?  Its on Rwanda and its terribly more powerful a message than Hotel Rwanda.

I did see that as well but felt that Hotel Riwanda was more powerful......possibly due to the fact that I saw it on the Big screen.

The big screen will do that for you.  Which film did you see first?

I felt the HBO film gave a more realistic depiction of the horrific genocide, while Hollywood version was just another "feel good" story in the end. 

That being said films at this level tend to be only a business decision based on profitability.  Which film would make more money on the big screen, certainly Hotel Rwanda.
