Southern Amp 09 has been postponed until later this summer. The Concert Scheduled for Thursday 12 November in Christchurch will now be staged 'sometime before Easter' next year according to promoteres with further acts and a new venue to be announced very soon. Most of the main acts will be retained for the new date and some new acts will be added, but UK punk-masters the Buzzcocks are sticking firm to their plans, being committed to other touring plans in the region, and will still play their first ever Christchurch gig on Thursday 12th November, but now at a packed and heaving club gig at the Bedford.

Southern Amp are delighted to 're-announce' the Buzzcocks + very special guests the Veils, as well as Christchurch icons the Bats & Psychedelic Auckland exports An Emerald City for one show only, kicking off at 7pm on Thursday 12th November at the Bedford.
All tickets already purchased for Southern Amp will remain valid for this one-off show but a very limited amount of tickets will be on sale from Ticketek, Real Groovy & Cosmic Corner for $69.90 + Bkg fees from Thursday 22nd October at 9am.

All other Southern Amp ticket purchasers who opt not to attend this not-to-be-missed concert will be able to retain their current tickets for the new rescheduled Southern Amp date, or return their tickets for refund.
Either way ticket purchasers must indicate their intention to their point of purchase before Tuesday 10th November at 5pm
