Okay. So I have this little problem. Electronics and me don't jive lately. I thoroughly destroy them. This wasn't always the case. When I was little I used to take apart cassette players, VCR's and random other gadgets and fix them. I was the one who other ladies would call to set up their new computers, surround sounds etc. I am still trying to figure out what went wrong. It started about two years ago. I noticed that light bulbs were suddenly burning out constantly around me. I would change them and a week later they would go again. The stove light, the two porch lights and the one in the bathroom were the worst. Soon after I noticed that whenever I would walk into a certain room in the house, the light would surge. Like it would suddenly get bright and then normal again. No one else was having this problem. Then it started to get annoying.

Cell phones - on my sixth in two years due to electrical issues,

Car - don't even get me started. It is possessed. Everything electric in the thing has gone crazy insane. Lights come of and on, electric components no longer work and the radio keeps shutting off and on. Now my battery keeps shorting out and I have to jump it every time I drive it and pray to god that my alternator holds up.

Computer- Okay now this one is becoming a household joke. Thing is, if I am pissed or tired. I simply can't get it to work. It freezes, times out, goes black etc. I can move it away from me or hand it to someone else and it starts to work again. Last night I was having a REALLY hard time with it. I decided to update my myspace status and no matter what I would do it simply would not work. I got white screen after white screen. I handed it to Josh and he was just laughing at me. He asked what I wanted him to write in my status for me. I just grumped "nemesis to all things electric!" He put it in with no problem and then started to surf on it laughing at me the whole time. Pissed I asked for it back and the moment it was in my hands, same thing.

Twice today while writing I have had to slide the computer away from me and reach across to finish and no it isn't the reception. Lol. I guess it is kinda funny but at the same time it isn't. It is really aggravating and all the teasing isn't helping.

Anyone out there know how to fix this kind of problem? I did some grounding to no avail and it seems this gets worse not better when I am really tired or relaxed. I have decided I am ditching the newer car I have and trading it in for an older model VW bus as soon as I practically can. Less stupid electronics and computers in it. Maybe I should invest in a nice abacus and start sending smoke signals. Damn.

Betty Shine had your same problem and became the 1 healer in the U.K.

My clock says 11:11 right now which is a validation that I'm on the right track.

Betty Shine had throat problems that wouldn't go away, and she went to a psychic (her mom used to use healer Harry Edwards as her personal doctor so Betty was comfortable with that concept). The psychic told her she needed to do hands on healing to release the pent up electrical energy. Betty did NOT want to be a healer, she was an opera singer and wanted to live for herself, not be catering to others in her golden years. Her throat problems got better when she started putting her hands on others to heal them.

She also had heart surgery and the titanium staples rusted and had to be removed. They're supposed to stay in forever. In her books she talks about all the problems she had with electronics, radio interviews, taping healing sessions, etc. She had a lot of electricity in her body.

To give you a place to start/experiment:

I see your husband sitting upright in a chair, his feet on the ground and you standing behind him with your hands on his shoulders - about five or ten minutes. Don't massage, just let your hands rest on the back of his shoulders. It will help his back and shoulder area. He should be relaxed and not making fun or joking. Receptive and relaxed.

Then, (wait a half hour in between) I see him laying down, (off the ground could be a bed, but looks like a futon or wooden platform with natural off white/beige sheets on it) and you at the bottom of the bed sitting on the floor/carpet holding his feet (your palms flat against the flat of his foot), for about five or ten minutes. Just sit comfortable and let the energy go out of your hands into him (or whatever it's supposed to do). No massaging, just flat against his feet. Pay attention to how you feel, your intuition will kick in to guide you.

Quiet, turn off all that wacky music you listen to, and tell the kids to observe and not talk (or lock them in a closet ha ha just kidding)...no or minimal talking. He should be relaxed enough to fall asleep. Have him pay attention to how it feels, if he feels heat or whatever. He should rest afterwards and sleep would be good.

I think it's daytime when you do this...like near a window where there's greenery outside...you don't have bambu growing outside a window do you?? That kind of peacefulness...

Hurry up and do it and tell me what happened!!
While you're fiddling with the abacus and sending smoke signals (hey! those are useful tools), I'll be making a sign for your new career that says, "Punky's two for one healings, halleluleh! Come on down, praise the lord!"
;-)

You know Roy, once upon a time I did do energy work for a Reiki practitioner in Liverpool. It was good fun and exhilarating. I moved away and have yet to find a similar outlet. BTW you forever crack me up. What's wrong with my music? Ahahaha! I will have to wait for the ol' ball chain to get home to try it. I will report back. No doubt he will fall asleep. That is his forte'

Wow, Lisa beat me to it. Maybe there's something to this.

btw, Betty Shine just started doing it on her own. The psychic guy told her she'd be guided on what to do next and she was.

Her books are so wild and wacky, but she was so down to earth, talked in plain language and liked to have a pint at the pub with her friends...when you read about all the wild stuff she did with her healing, it just seems normal and makes sense because of her warm personality. People would also receive healing just by looking at her photo on the book covers.

Try some distant healing on me before the albatross around your neck gets home. My shoulders are sore (from gazing into the crystal ball ie: Mac screen).

can you wear a watch or do they burn out quickly too? I have a friend who has the same problems, and she can put a new battery in a watch and in a day's time it's stopped working...I have no idea how to help other than offer you some comfort in knowing that shit happens to other people too....If it were me I'd be all groovy with it...like having super powers and stuff!! ElectrO'bot!!!!

OMG. ElectrO'Bot. I love it! I don't wear watches. I used to years ago but I didn't have this problem then. That article Mara posted said people like this were called "sliders". I will have to google that one.
