It seems as if the next level of Myspace interaction is the "blog," so on this Saturday evening I succumb. Here's goes nothing. I've just posted two of the new Deena Goodman tracks on my jukebox. I post them for a number of reasons. 1.I played bass on them. 2.The most ridiculous musicians on the planet played on them and sound amazing (hold that thought the Yankees have tied the game!!!!!!) I just really really love the Yankees. Anyway. Back to the tracks...Shawn Pelton on drums and Pete Levin on keys. And then there's Billy Masters. I shall give Billy his own number. 3.Billy played guitar on these tracks, and as usual his playing is second to none. But really, would I give him his own number for just that? Hell no. Billy also produced and mixed these tracks, and for those of you not in the know, that means that most of why these tracks sound so damn good, is cause of Billy and his magical production wand. Hats off to Bills. 4.Deena writes and sings her ass off. This girl is no joke, her songs are no joke and if you're not hip to her you'd better get hip soon.
I've made it through my first blog, and rest assured if the A's win this game it'll be a long time before I blog again. On the other hand, if the Yanks should win, I just may be blogging everyday. Stay tuned and enjoy the tunes!
