Why do people want to turn America into a Theocracy? When did Christianity stop being personal? When did it become a religion of mass political reform? Did not Christ tell us not be become too involved in things of this world because they are fleeting? When did Christian start to mean life good death bad? When did compassion leave Christianity? What happen to what you do for the least of humanity you do for Christ? When did "Christians" decide they needed to force convert a nation with Legal revisionism? When did everyone go crazy?
For the record we are governed by the Constitution, not the Declaration of Independence. Why do some people refuse to see the very real reason why God is never mentioned in our guiding document? I've got a copy right here if you wanna thumb through it. "God, I think the fact that I try to please you, pleases you." That's how I want to live it. For the record, Jesus wouldn't be a Republican.
