Who Gives Kudos:

October 19, 2007 - Friday
As some of you may know, several years ago the Lord started speaking to me about adoption, so in obedience to Him I adopted a little boy 3 years ago whose birth parents were from Zimbabwe, Africa. Justice is the light of my life and I am so grateful to the Lord for the gift He gave me in him, but the older Justice got the more I felt like it wasn't enough...I wanted to do more somehow…So I was led to partner with the incredible ministry World Vision. World Vision helps transform the lives of the world's poorest children and families in nearly 100 countries worldwide. For just $35 a month YOU can help feed, educate, give health care, and spiritually nourish to a child in desperate need. I have 5 children in Africa who are a part of my extended family because of the incredible ministry of World Vision. These precious kids write me and tell me things like my gift helped them buy a goat that gave them milk all winter so they were able to live…

"Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

Below is a trackable link (so World Vision will know I sent you!) that takes you to sponsership page…please pray about it and check into sponsoring a child…You will not regret giving life to someone.

Blessings!

wow !!! i knew you had to have a deeper connection when you adopted justice. what you are doing,,,so many of us should be doing as well. sharing of the LORD's abundance thru HIS word....

i too am involved with a christian organization out of monrovia, liberia. i met this pastor from africa at my church. he told me of the strife in his country thru terror of rebels associated with charles taylor. well he then shared more with me how he had planted 19 churches around the monrovia area. planted a seminary and christian school. then to top that off,,,,he planted an orphange for the many of orphaned kids. it seems that the rebels would torture, kill and maime innocent parents during the strife. leaving kids to wander the streets aimlessly...

today there are 450 orphans we are supporting. we have done what we could and can to support the kids. last year the LORD spoke to me a prophetic word to put in place for the children,,,,a vision and message. we rented a facility and held a service and i spoke what the LORD had shared with me on 1st corinthians 13 and prophet joel (latter rain). someone wrote a check for $10,000 to give to the childrens benefit at the orphange that is being built!!!! man did we praise GOD all that night and still do a year later !!!! what a awesome confirmation....

the organization is called A.I.C.M.....african international christian mission....www.aicmission.org

the brother and sister who are here in america are pastor liberty and sister esther. they are soooooooooooo near and dear to me.

i commend you for your efforts to raise awareness for those in need. it truly is what we are called to do,,,,to serve the word of the LORD and HIS love,,,so they might truly know the love of GOD...amen sis...

HI Rita,

We sponsored two children the same ages of our own, and matched their sex, so the kids could take it personal that they are helping other children in the world, eat, sleep, get help medically, and educationally, and spiritually. We pray for our children, and want to do more, It is a fulfillment that is beyond words to help, even if you never physically met.
It is unto Jesus, and that in itself, is the reward.
Bless you, in all you are doing to advance His kingdom, with love from Ontario....
