Thank you for your overwhelming response as to whether or not I should blog. The answer was a resounding yes. As I stated in my question about blogging it has been a wild weekend at the Bonaduce home. First, my car was stolen while the police were already at my house responding to another matter. You would think that would be uncomfortable enough finding out both of the very polite police officers had arrested me in the past. I didn't remember my particular crimes but apologized for my behavior just the same.. They said that I was quite the gentleman, but I left them no choice but to arrest me. I didn't fully understand what that meant and I thought it best not to pursue in front of my daughter. Later on, I learned that one had arrested me but released me because he thought my crime was appropriate. I was helping Roseanne Barr do an appearance at Tower Records some 10 years ago when she was under the impression she could sing and she was very rude to me. I am the consummate professional so I would never delay taping by getting into an argument so I simply went outside and urinated on the driver's seat of her mobile dressing room. After some discussion the police officer and I agreed that this was a perfectly reasonable response. The other police officer had arrested me in a sweep of a bar that sold under age people drinks and had a reputation for selling drugs. I was over age and possessed no drugs. So actually, as my rap sheet goes (or went, as I have not been arrested in 17 years) it was a fairly dull retelling of my old ways. I have never done anything that I believe to be truly bad behavior but I have been arrested for some interesting stuff and this wasn't it. I once had a fight with a transvestite and was arrested for assault. This was not my fault. This guy was a jerk and was going to get his ass kicked no matter what he was wearing. I respect every woman's right to accessorize but I draw the line at a penis. His Dick didn't even match his shoes. As I said this was not my fault, but a fistfight with the drag queen is far more interesting then urinating on Roseanne's dressing room. Although I must admit they both make me laugh. I hope I did this blog thing right and I will try and keep them short and sweet and send them out often. Thank you for being even slightly interested. Love Danny.
