Shemekia was personally invited over
this past weekend to play at one of the Inaugural Parties yesterday, hosted by
Art Facto and MoveOn.Org in ....Georgetown..... The party kicked off the celebration at
midnight and continued into the morning at 5:00am.
Recognizing the best ....Chicago.... blues artists from Obama’s hometown,
special performances from Buddy Guy, Ronnie Brooks, and Hubert Sumlin kept the
party alive all morning. A cameo was
expected to be made by Bill Clinton however has not yet been confirmed.....
