Another trip to Wisconsin completed.

Raided the thrift stores like a fucking pirate. Found some OMD albums for 50 cents apiece. Played with my little sister, Daisy the Chihuahua. Watched her narcotic reaction to the stuffed walrus I gave her. I drank some Pizza Beer. Threw away a box of memories. Kept the Garfield cards. Explored, and was disappointed by Lasagna Cat (maybe that's the whole point?). Was blown away by some Vivid Alt trailers. Played with Buddy the Lion-Dog and discussed some strange taxidermic possibilities with Hart. Tried to play arcade games with Alex, but they tore down the last arcade and everything at Funset was broken. We did find a pretty cool "street luge" game, though. Talked about Pink Squirrels with the women of the family. Visited my dead grandfather. Ate some excellent home cooking and some awful restaurant food. Found that my favorite coffeeshop in Neenah was closed under mysterious circumstances. Got a hell of a tan. Left Chicago hating Greyhound buses and arrived in Chicago hating them even more. Watched "Hellraiser." In a motor home (AKA "The Guest House"), where I slept every night. Ran into my aunt, who basically said that I always look shabby. Peed in the backyard a few times. Saw some surprisingly informed street art. Bought my Dad a new pair of Crocs..."dress Crocs" (which he happily wore to a meeting the next day). Visited my grandparents in Green Bay and drank beer with my Grandpa for the first, and possibly the last, time. Watched the agony and the ecstasy of my father trying to operate a riding lawnmower; the incident ended with sparks shooting out from the mower, and a broken mower. Geeked out a bit at Chimera Hobby. Buried my pet chinchilla. Went to my old workplace, and only found one person I recognize. Saw Appleton's only tricked-out fixed-gear bicycle. Found a copy of New Order's BBC Radio Live album, the worst live album I've ever heard, performed by my absolute favorite band. Officially made Willem Dafoe my role model. Had weird dreams about Nine Inch Nails and old girlfriends.

Summer is ending soon, you know. The boys of summer are almost gone. Yesterday I smelled change in the air. Texas smelled it too. A lot of good friends are leaving town, and I'm quite sad about that. It's a hole that even bicycles won't fill.
