however,
i think the award goes to ahmet ertegun, who fell at the stones concert and proceeded into cometose. now that is really something.
i think there was a film like that circa 50's, a pianist dies on stage while playing a piano. in crescendo.

i woke at my friend's on 24th. looked into a mirror and saw my hair forming a mound similar to what jb had in his "please, please" era.
not very flattering but i did sing "hot pants!!" to myself.

smokin hot pants, ha!

then the next day, news came on, it said, "james brown, 73yrs old"
not realizing he's gone, i accidentally went: not dead yet, ha ha ha

didn't hit me right away that i got a foot in my mouth again.
my mother was right next to me, she just turned 73 the day before.
i didn't mean it that way, but she is not familier with jb and his wild life to know what i meant.

few hours later a bulb went on.
feeling apathetic, i throw the incident on a pile of accumulated misunderstandings.
then placed my apathy on top like icing on a christmas cake.
