GIANT insect fair this weekend!!!!
Saturday May 16th and Sunday May 17th the Los Angeles Natural History Museum is throwing their annual bug fair. It's North America's largest and I can't help but spam it every year because it's AMAZING!!!!!
They have so much insect stuff to see, touch, buy, and EAT! Yeah.... I know! Like I said last year, "Whether you want to eat a barbecued cricket, see a 10" bird-eating tarantula, buy a collectors case full of preserved butterflies, pet the softest silk worms, bring in some creepy crawly you found at home for official identification, see a preying mantis egg case hatch, taste some fresh honey in 12 odd flavors, or just nerd-watch old men with magnifying loops searching for rare fruit fly specimens, this fair is BEST!
It's in the two main halls of the museum, and with the $9 to get in, you can see the whole museum (the rocks and minerals exhibit can't be beat but most like the enormous amount of taxidermy this museum has) or just camp out in front of the enclosed beehive and try to find the queen bee from 9:30-5"

I'm usually there both days and I hope to meet a few of you there!

See you there?!?!
