we never wanted to have to have to sell or promote aluminium. thats one of the reasons we decided to make so few copies. (i'm sick of having things sold to me. its depressing to try and watch kids tv with my children and see junk food being sold to them.) but we did of course want people to hear this music, and as of today more than 40 000 people have listened to the songs on myspace, which is a far wider audience than i ever thought this would get to. music like this is never going to be on the radio very much, so its made me really appreciate the beauty of the web... you can listen to whatever you want, without anyone deciding on your behalf whats good or bad. we've made this music, we've put it out there, and people are hearing it and giving us feedback on it...its as simple as it should be. this is a great time for music, because its a great time for the creators and fans of music.
