Earlier this week, we announced that the groundbreaking new album by Yesterday's Ring, "Diamonds in the Ditch", is now officially in stores (CD and digital, that is, vinyl will soon be here). Today, we are excited to launch the Yesterday's Ring embeddable streaming player. You can listen to the entire album, you can use the link on the player to purchase the album, and you can share the player anywhere you can post html code. All you have to do is click Embed on the player which will automatically copy the html code for you and all you have to do is paste that code on your Myspace (blog, myspace emails, and/or bulletin), your blog, and/or your website.
We created this player with the hope that our friends through music might like this album or our label enough to help spread the music to ears we might not be able to reach. We are not a big enough label (or cool enough) to have our albums stream on AOL spinner or on Spin's website, but in my mind there are enough supporters of underground, independent music to share our music that we don't need to depend on those mega-conglomerates to spread our ideas.
So please give this album a listen (or 20 listens) and share the player with others. We are extremely proud to have been able to release this album as we think Yesterday's Ring are covering musical territories few bands have ever covered and they might be the most rocking band I know of to play music with an Alt-Country/Americana influence.
We appreciate your support of what we do.
Your friends through independent music
