Well, its been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster.
Over the past few months I've been watching the DVD's of the 80's sci fi drama Quantum Leap. You know the one, where Dr Sam Beckett travels in time throughout his own lifetime, fixing parts of other people's lives that once went wrong.
I started watching it originally because I'd caught a couple of episodes on ITV3 and it brought back some memories. It was great, covered some serious issues including racism, domestic abuse and even cruelty to animals whilst still being highly entertaining, mostly because of Al.
The hardest part is now, after I've seen the final episode. It ended a huge part of my life, having not seen it before and the worst part is that it wasnt even proper closure because the only reason they finished the show was because of diminishing ratings.
There have been calls for a new series, possibly a parallel series and there were rumours that Dean Stockwell who played Al was on board but so far nothing has materialised. All I can hope is that one day something will. Ha you just read the ramblings of my bored post-Quantum Leap mind.
