This review was fun to write because I talked about titties a lot. My editor WIL was kind enough to include a photo of writer-director Paul Solet "accidently" touching mine at the LA Fangoria convention earlier this year.

"So there is a bloodsucking baby, but more importantly – old people have sex. Informing my readers of what to look for in a movie is my top priority and here you get old titty.

But the film is really about Madeline (Jordan Ladd from Cabin Fever, Grindhouse) making babies. The opening shot of the movie is her blank stare as her husband sorta screws her and she lifts her legs to ensure his sperm monkeys crawl their way through her fallopian tubes. Husband dies, baby comes out thirsting for blood, and Madeline’s mother-in-law Vivien suffers a three-quarter life crisis and wants to steal her baby."....

I was quite surprised at this film myself, and I reckon Solet could be the next Christopher Nolan. We'll have to wait and see on his next film. Hopefully Eli Roth pays it forward from what Tarantino did for him and helps Solet out with the second feature.

Glad you liked it Fishy. It is a typical horror film and it deals with such strong female characters and all the males take a backseat, so it must be hard for it to get a male following. I had one friend tell me he didn't like it because of the direction or something like that. But then I watched it myself and I don't think that's what really bothered him. Besides, I know his taste in films and this doesn't fit.

It's a good day on MYspace, you and Royce wrote reviews of two films I like a lot.
This film is messed up. It kept me on edge as did INside too.
Awesome review!!

I still have a soft spot for the It's Alive series.

Cool, thanks. I have to get over to Royce's side of things to see what he did. Did he FINALLY see 500 Days of Summer?....

You have a way with a review my dear, good stuff. I wrote a review for this as well that is coming out next week. I have to say I wasn't blown away by this movie. When you hear about people passing out while watching it and falling into the aisles you expect to be majorly impressed with the content.

People seem to be seriously affected by this movie. Maybe I'm missing something?

Just that fact that you used the words sperm monkeys in this review makes me want to see it!
