Hello there everyone{;o)

Just to set everyones mind at rest and clear up any misconceptions ,the previous blog is absolutely correct the Academy 3 show will in effect be my final show in Manchester.
I will as advertised hopefully be playing on Tuesday 20th at the Final Day of M.R.Online I.T.C fringe at " Moon Under THe Water".I was asked to pick the bands .

It is a great bill and my intention was not to appear myself just introduce everyone but the M R O asked me to 'do a bit'..........to which I agreed on the understanding that all the other performers get their full allocated time and if there should be any delays or time lost {as is almost inevitable with multi act shows}then it is my 'bit' that is cut short..
.....so I would feel bad for folks coming to see me and then feel let down because it's just a 20/ 25 min set. So please please come along to the 'MOON' it'll be great I kid you not just go to the MRO site and take a look at the bill!!!

Why am I stopping ? Happy to say I am not poorly......just tired ....of the violence ...on the streets ...on the 'field' ...behind the wheel  and general apathy and lack of backbone by a population who for some reason are unwilling to stand up and say.........  'STOP' ..and just say that they  'can't do anything about it'. That is absolute tosh.

As long as people in their 100's of thousands allow grown men to launch themselves feet-first at fans.... bite each other...... trade blows twelve-handed ....in front of 500 million kids world wide ......whilst their managers are allowed to avoid traffic
offences by virtue of 'the runs'..... then those same people testify to me that 'the lads' are under an enormous amount of pressure(sic) ....Why ? Have they got nowhere to live? Are they struggling to make ends meet? .......and of course 'it's in the heat of the moment' ..... and are STILL happy to wear their 'heroes' kit with 'pride and swagger' ... because it's all part of the game !

That's not for me thanks ..................the real heroes are in Swinton +Pendlebury childrens hospital or working at Christies or in any geriatric and mentally handicapped ward or walking into blazing buildings to save some tot and it's family.

So I'm taking a stand  that's all ........ thank you to all of my great great  friends for being just that.
