I'm wondering if the Brita commercial is correct and all the plastic bottles for water and soda will survive for eternity. If this is the case then it seems that it might be a great idea to stop the production of plastic bottles. Go back to aluminum cans for soda since the cans are recylable and stop the production of bottled water altogether. It appears that there is becoming a water shortage all around the world. I know here in California there is a lot of talk about water shortage. If they stop bottling water and let people drink from the tap, it would not only save water overall but it would stop the polution of the planet with trillions of bottles less to live forever in landfills, gutters, vacant lots or wherever. Standards for tap water are at an all-time high so why not?
