1st shoot - a very cool vintage 50's motel out in Sun Valley..had the lead girl from the new 90210 and some guy from Gossip Girl..I saw alot of cool lighting setups and did a bunch of errands
2nd shoot - at Jim Goldstein's house up high on Beverly Hills..his house is always the real scenic/well designed house with the magnificent view of LA that you see in all the party rap videos..had to hold a bare head whille avoiding electrocution..YIKES!
3rd shoot - client shoot at Joshua Tree National Park..very fashiony..long day (15+)..some suprises for viewers when it hits TV
4th shoot - XYV clothing and Kim Kardashian..Kim was very nice and easy to get along with, very pretty and i think even more beautiful without makeup..everyone at Smashbox was gawking the whole time
so far so good
avoided being yelled at so far
lots of stuff youll learn on the spot
pretty much throw out any kind of preconcieved notion of photography + lighting when you assist, just because you have to see everything thru their eyes
been figuring out how to light big campaigns (its much easier than you think)
lots of fun but yet tiring at the same time
each shoot is about 15+ hours
