have you ever gone to the beach and just taken sand and piled it up as high as it will fall from your hands?
thats what NYC is like to me. teeny-tiny little things all stacked up as high as they can go, all within a limited space.
unlike LA (which spreads out) NY goes straight up. (in more ways than one)
never have i been to a city that hosts the lives of such beautiful creatures..
everywhere i look, theres beauty, and beautiful people. its insane.
i think im in love with NY just a tad more than LA.. and im not just saying that because i was in NY last.
LA is great, but its pretty shallow and/ or hollow.
NY is so solid, and true. with every brick of every building you know that the city has so much history.. and the people just accept that and go on with their lives (and they walk really really fast).
i hit the metropolitan, the museum of natural history, central park, strawberry fields (forever), the dakota, brooklyn bridge, whats left of the trade center, NY city hall, time square, beauty bar, empire state bulding (102nd floor), the great general post office (sigh..), grand central station, rockefeller, st patricks cathedral, little poland, union square, chinatown, little italy, soho, and i got to watch my ex (amanda) makeout with some girl..
yeah..
i will be back in NY soon. these past few days are some of the best ive ever had.
and i really missed out on so much (mainly luisa..)
and id like to see more of jennifer chen.
i need to be back in that city. it is overflowing with opportunity, and i want to take advantage.
say what you want about it- but NYC is the best city in the country.
END OF STORY.
