Current mood:  accomplished

Hey everybody,

First off, you all mean so much to the five of us in BDA.  You, the fans, make what we did meaningful and for every way that our music has affected you, so in turn hearing your comments and letters about it has affected us.  So, with that said, regret to inform everyone that BDA has officially broken up.  Our myspace will remain up indefinatly, but as many of you may have already noticed, our website has ceased to exsist.  Despite the fact we are no longer a band, we are all still very much friends.  Currently, Matt and his wife sarah have welcomed their first child, and reside in Greenville, SC.  Dave and his wife have relocated to Houston, TX where Dave leads worship at a church.  Jake and his wife both still reside in Nashville and are working.  Clint, who recently got married, is continuing to be a guitar player, most notably with Warren Barfield.  However, him and myself have also began playing in a new band here in Nashville, where we will be attempting to break into the mainstream country market.

There really isn't much story to tell about it all, we really just felt like we were ready to do other things.  Nothing will ever replace the memories we made meeting so many of you from one side of the country to the other, but its time to continue on with other things.

God Bless you all,

Ben

Well, I trust you guys to make the right decisions, and that's because I'm not sure I've ever heard a band with such pure music. Not one song, not even the romantically focused ones, ever let their eyes off God for a second. You guys really are (were, I guess) exactly what a band was meant to be. Thanks for the album; if God says so, then one album was enough. I hope it will still be examples to the other Christian bands who seek to improve themselves. Rock on and God bless! Wooh!

Wow.. I was wondering why the website no longer existed.. It's really sad.. I've been fans of Clint and Jake before they were even in BDA.. when RAIN was around.. I was sad when they broke up and now it's even worse now that y'all broke up too.. Good luck in everything you all do..

God Bless.. xo, Tanna

It's two years after the fact and a local Christian radio station has been playing "Love is Here" by BDA for at least the past two days. The songs are just as powerful as the first time I heard them.

I miss the days of being a groupie mom but will always remember BDA and what these five terrific young men have meant to me. No matter what... BDA STILL ROCKS!

Proud Momma of Clint, guitar player supreme.
