Comments: Now I was dreading this. One of my all time favourite bands remixed 20+ years after the event. It could have been a real dog's dinner but in reality it's actually very nearly excellent ! Obviously with these things there are mixes you like and ones you don't but I can honestly say I do like 90% of these here. Personally I think it's some of the non single tracks which work the best rather than the singles themselves. I've heard the singles hammered in clubs for years so good to get some album tracks re-worked. I'd pick out Youth by The Memory Band, Heat by Yer Man, Secret Life by George Demure and the b-side Her Imagination by Playgroup as some of my favourites here. Obviously 26 tracks is a lot to wade through but it was worth it .......the project is rather excellent me thinks !!

Comments: In a amusical age where (for me) 'electro' has become a little tired, stale and overodone I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this remix album. However, I am very impressed with this remix album...from the subtle to the outrageously upbeat and anthemic these tunes sound fresher than ever.

Comments: Impressive stack of remixes here, it's got its moments but some are very top notch

Comments: This album is great! Lots of strange textures, hard beats and swirly synths. Cicada Remix of Memorabilia is a great opening track. The bass works really well and the vocals start quite soon into the track. The Art Of Falling Apart has massive bass. Synth sounds are a bit strange... Say hello, wave goodbye is a very catchy track, not heard it before. I like barriers, originally thought that it was going to build up but it surprisingly stays swooshy all the way through. All in all a great album, will definitely appeal to Soft Cell fans and they will get some new fans too!! Great!

Comments: i really have to be honest a soft cell fans dream come too. there are some real belters on here, and yes it may be the most obvious but the Dakeyne remix of tainted love is so incredible it's been in my top 5 dance tracks for quite a while now. i'm positive that from the reaction it gets from my people that it would shoot straight to number one if it were released as a single. wicked package and i something i know i'll be using for years to come.

Comments: Absolutely fantastic! This is the perfect synthesis of electronica and pop. Each one of these songs was a classic in its own right to begin with, but these remixes have breathed new life into them. Especially "Martin" which was always one of my absolute favourites.

Comments: an essential release for me!... a diverse collection of excellent remixes. these will keep my DJ sets going for weeks!... some cool killer dance floor tracks: Memorabilia (Cicada Remix), Bedsitter (MHC Remix), Torch (MHC), Soul Inside (Readers Wifes), Heat (Yer Man), Meet Murder My Angel (Marc Almond & Kinky Roland), Chips On My Shoulder (Mark Moore & Kinky Roland), Martin (Nitewreckers)... some of less dance-orientated mixes stood out too: enjoyed the ultra-synthetic Little Rough Rhinestone mix by Solvent & Richard X's mix of Seedy Films. best of all was the Marcas Lancaster remix of Say Hello, Wave Goodbye- i just lOVE the raw synths & live-sounding drums on this version. different enough to be interesting, but not >too< different. probably my favourite mix over the two CDs. if there are any of the bonus, non-CD tracks available i'd love to hear them too.
