So I have some reservations about starting a "blog," first because I don't know where this strange, futuristic, science-fiction word came from and how it has slipped so quickly and insidiously into our basic vocabulary, and secondly because I don't know if anyone will read it, and the idea of essentially talking to a black hole is moderately appealing at best. But, what the hell, it won't hurt anybody and maybe it will help me brush up on my writing skills.

So, hello everybody, this is Willie from the Kerosene Kondors. I am at work right now and should probably go back downstairs and do dishes, but first I will tell you about a dream I recently had:

A small boy had a special power. He could see the transparent ghosts of prehistoric sea-creatures, swimming in the same places they used to swim when most of the earth was covered in water. So for instance he would be walking down the street and see the gigantic ghosts of ancient, oversized sharks swimming slowly through the air, passing through buildings and buses.

Someone other than me - perhaps Robyn Hitchcock - shouild write a song about that.

Great dream. I, too, thought that blog was a combing log and blah, blah, blah, blah.

Wouldn't it be weird if there were people who did nothing other than dedicate their time to repsonding to outdated blogs?
