We Grow Up 3/5
Charming folkish pop music is the business here from Adelaide's Triple J-endorsed quintent.
Songwriters Jonathan Mortimer and Anthony Golding are finding their feet quickly. Sometimes these songs feel borderline slight but they always have a casual confidence in their ability to win you over with storytelling lyrics and the kind of warmth you get from having friends around a microphone in your living room. Not there yet, but nice start.
