Last night I watched a very short portion of an interview.  The interviewer asked the guest what he liked the least about Washington D.C.  The guest answered that he thought it was too political.  Next, the interviewer asked the guest what he thought about all the dead and wounded soldiers fighting in Iraq.  The guest said he had just spoken to a wounded soldier who had lost a leg and was proud to hear that soldier say he couldn't wait to get back to the battlefield and fight for his country (U.S.A.).

As I thought about how absolutely thoughtless and just plain stupid the guest's answer was to the first question and how not only callous, but also obviously an outright lie the answer to the second question was I had to ask myself how in God's name did this man become the president of the United States of America?

I would say, you can't have love, peace, sanity and the other words unless you are capable to forgivr and be forgiven.  We need to turn the other cheek,  ask those we offended to forgive us and forgive those who offended us.  Forgiveness and a strong
belief in God will yield peace and harmony and other descriptives.
