Who Gives Kudos:

So I'm participating in the wonderful, weird and nonlocal power of the internet by trading a song for this beautiful oil painting you see me snuggling below. (The painting is called Lotus, and it's by UK artist Evlyn Kharag.)

..

Andrew Henderson, based in the northwest of England, is trying to trade up from nothing to a Bentley (or a Rolls). Good idea, no? He's not doing too badly either. I'm trade 21; you can read all about it on his website. I'm writing and recording an original instrumental blues that I'm going to send to the victim - I mean tradee - who is somewhere in England, too. He's going to record a vocal and send the vocal back to me; I'm going to mix it in and polish it up real fancy-like.

Seriously, how cool is technology getting? I can remember desperately wanting a four-track analog tape recorder.

That does sound cool! I am waiting for a piece of software or device that all you have to do is sing lyrics you have written and it will produce a full band with background vocals to the melody and all someone would have to do is edit or tweak it into a decent recording.
It would be great for those of us who can sing or think we can sing anyway but dont have any real talent on a musical instrument, aka like myself!! :-)
