Hello everyone!
I miss writing more frequently, but unfortunately my schedule has not allowed me such pleasure. I must do so more, especially since I sense such an incredibly positive energy about this year that is upon us. There is so much change, yet I've found a beautiful opulence right at it's center-if we would all but look for it. There is a wealth of wisdom, truthfulness and prosperity that is somewhere amongst this sense we must make of the things around us and world we are a part of. I feel a progressive motion asking us to be participants of something bigger, stronger, larger. I dunno...I've felt this before, but this year feels almost alive! Surging with energy calling us to stand strong, open to expansion and flourishing.

I truly hope all of you have had a good year so far!

From conversation and stories, it appears as though last year was difficult for many (myself included)...However, I think it's only natural to feel a struggle within oneself when the universe is asking you to be full of faith and trust in it's abundance.

And in reguards to trusting in the abundance of love and goodness I would like to encourage all of you to be a part of the peace movement. I hope to see everyone around me, at some point this year, getting themselves involved in the pursuit of peace and the extension of love. Be it in prayer, social activism, or within themselves.

This invitation I am extending now to all of you really is for ALL of you, but I know is a lot simpler for those who are located on the east coast, so I am hoping that at least some of you who are local will join me?!?!:

Lobby Day in Washington DC is almost upon us. This is an opportunity for you to join myself and others such as friends at: Invisible Children and Resolve Uganda in lobbying with our Nation's leaders in order to rise support from the US government to end the civil war in Uganda and help find resolutions and support for peace.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to get involved with the world you are a part of as well as utilize your freedom and your voice as a citizen of America.

Here is an incredible video for last year's lobby day which came shortly after the Global Nigh Commute (the protest for the children in Uganda, in which thousands of us all slept outside to make a statement about the injustice that is going on everyday in Uganda with it's children and it's people).

Check out what an incredible impact the voices and passion of the youth had on the Leaders of our country!:

The displaced in Uganda won't go home until the peace talks are signed, and the peace talks won't be signed unless they know that the US will support their work. So we're taking a risk.Sign up and bring a friend. Maybe two.
As the youth of today and the future of tomorrow we have are in an incredible position to be a part of changing the world that is around us now for the better:

I think this is such a great opportunity for people to get involved. Its so easy for us to get involved in the regular rigermarole and neglect what's important. I know I personally get so wrapped up in my own problems and can neglect all of the horrible things going on in the world around me. I think despite my fervent anti-Obama campaign, ignored the great injustice going on in Africa, in favor of the primary elections (which are also very important.) I think everyone should if nothing else, spread the word. Additionally, I know of a great organization that allows young people to get involved. Its founder is currently nineteen, and was 16 when she started it. Its called Discover Worlds. She was a keynote speaker at a Model UN conference I attended, and you should check it out:
