This was a pleasant surprise this morning...Napster's review of my new album:

"In 2001, Cyndi Thomson was blowing up and appeared to have a very bright future in country music. She had a #1 country single and her debut album, My World, was in the top ten of Billboard's Country Albums chart. In 2002, however, she walked away from it all. "Becoming a recording artist... has been an overwhelming life changing experience", she wrote in an open letter to her fans, and went on to explain that she felt she could not commit to the obligations that go along with such a career.

"Having shunned her major label commitments, she's back eight years later with This Time, a gentle, acoustic, self-released EP of new material. These tracks are not going to burn up commercial radio, which is fine, because that's clearly not the goal of this record. Thomson is in complete control of her artistic output and is indulging her love of music in her own way. The tracks are gorgeous, basic, country-folk and Thomson's effortless, expressive vocals are the sole star of the show. This Time is a perfect way for Thomson to ease back into releasing her music and we hope to hear more from her very soon."

Hopefully this is just the first of many good reviews!! ;-)

I second that notion Cyndi.  I for one have missed hearing you on radio and as far as I'm concerned radio NEEDS you back to break the monontony of hearing Taylor 24/7.  Your voice would bring a welcomed breath of fresh air to radio.
