Well, Fall is here and you know what that means. Kids getting colds and allergies are acting up on everyone that has them. Seasons change and so do we. My daughter is playing around the house and watching her favorite DVD...Dora the Explorer. Lol. Kids keep me young at heart at her age. She's 2 going on 3 and really active here at home. In public, she's shy and she keeps a finger or thumb in her mouth. She's adorable. I imagine she's bored with her brother in school b/c when she sees the school bus stop, she gets really excited seeing her brother get off. Lol. It's cute. I have 2 other children by my ex-husband, but they live with him dad in AL. I don't get to see them that much but when I do, I make it the best visit with them as good as I can. I let them go and do whatever they enjoy to do.
Oh, I almost forgot, my fiance and I are getting married in less than a month.
We have been together for 8 years and engaged for 7 years, so we decided that it was time to get married. We have been through so much in our relationship that if we have held on to each other this long, I'm positive we can hold on longer.
People wanted us to get married when we were pregnant with our son but we said we'd wait. We wanted to get married 3 years later but we were too far in pregnancy with our daughter so we waited. You know the saying, "Patience is a virtue"? Well, it is and we are blessed by God that we had 2 children before marriage. They are in the ceremony and so are my older 2. If God didn't want us to have children before we got married, we would not have them to this day to be able to enjoy their momma's and daddy's special day. We have been blessed by the greatest family and friends that are going to be there.
My fiance and our son are going to wear a tux and me and our daughter are wearing matching gowns...of course, I'm the bride...lol. I'll have the veil attached, she won't...lol. She's the flower girl and our son is the ring bearer, my older daughter is a junior bridesmaid and my older son is a junior groomsman....they are going to look adorable. I just can't wait to see the look on alot of people's faces when they see my beautiful girls and handsome boys.
Well, that is all for now. Hope everyone has a safe month and don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour on the 29th...And have a safe Halloween! My kids are going to go trick-or-treating. I make sure that they get to. Take care and God bless.
