Current mood:  animated
Just wanted to share some exciting news...

"What You Said Last Night", a song I co-wrote with 2ClicksDown partner, Curt Harpel is on both DVD sets (new releases) for Gray's Anatomy Season 2 and Samantha Who? Season 1!

I haven't performed live for a while since I've been so busy with 2ClicksDown, Silvermoney, Sweet Crude & Back Seat Taxi.  I really miss seeing everyone & having that interaction, so I'm going to perform at Genghis Cohen on April 24th @ 9pm.  740 N. Fairfax Ave. just north of Melrose in LA.  $7 cover.  I'm working out tunes for my new solo cd.  It's a return to simple songwriting and big vocals.  The band I'm playing with is phenom!!!  Bruce Watson (guitar), Mike Mennell (bass), Michael Smidi Smith (keys), Randy Cooke (drums) and special guest, Sean Holt on vocals & sax!!!  You're gonna love them as much as I do!!!!

The Silvermoney cd is in the hands of the manufacturer!  Groovehouse Records is pressing them for us and they're using veggie-based inks, recycled card stock & recycled cd trays!!!  Dan Silver and I have had a blast creating, but the best is yet to come!  We can't wait to perform the songs together live!!!!

I know the economy SUCKS right now!  Being eco-minded can save you money!!!!  If you need any tips, please feel free to send me a message and I'll get back to you.  Also, music feeds the soul, so grab your mp3 player, find a peaceful spot and crank up the volume!!!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rock-n-Roll!

Kelly

God only knows I myself have a few ideas of my own for preserving our resources more creatively...and then there were some good ideas from Herman Cain, the businessman turned commentator who fills in occasionally for Neal Boortz on his radio show, on a programme from last year, and some unique presentations of those like, "USE THE CRUISE" (for using cruise control wherever possible as that has been proven to save fuel even at higher speeds) and "DUMP THE JUNK" (remove any excess cargo from the boot or hatch of your car or the bed of your truck)...Very good ideas indeed.

I am impressed with the way more eco-friendly inks and papers are being developed. May these ideas continue to develop...I have bought a few CDs in the past year with interesting packaging designs, I know that Capitol/EMI are using a cardboard casing with two openings, one for a CD booklet and the other for a CD, I noticed that on Glen Campbell's latest CDs, his Greatest Hits disc from last month on top of Meet Glen Campbell from last year, and Hear Music are using another design with a more traditional CD base made mostly from cardboard with a cardboard top cover similar to the above design, I noted that when I bought James Taylor's new CD, Covers, when it was released...

This is very interesting Kelly, I am pleased to see those developments, I am hoping for your continued success.
