New Jersey has gotta be like no where else in the comedy world.Gotta love the whole jersey bar show that is the nightmare setup.Doomed from the jump.Sometimes(like last night)the setup is so fucked you actually think your being punked.No cover charge,which is always great for comedy.No cover means every town wiseass,asshole,drunk,,thinks hes funnier than the comics Joe guido jerkoff is for sure gonna be there obnoxiously letting his presence and small dick size be known.I was told that TVs and Juke box would be turned off BUT being jersey TV'S were left on with no sound.Show didn't start till 10pm,to insure the audience was well wasted,rowdy and ready to rumble,LITERALLY.As if the set up couldn't get worseso we set up downstairs in the dining area next to the bar,that had a 1/2 wall seperating the two areas.Most of audience with there backs to us.Several did sit down tho during the show in the dining area thank god.These people got a good show.Either I lost my will to live or I ve finally went insane because I started it off and  just kept going until I had insulted,humiliated as many of these filthy animals as I could and you know what?They couldn't get enough of it.Don't get me wrong some got offended or emberassed and got in my face but the rest of the audience laughed them into shutting up.The Feature never had a chance.It was painful to see a good friend of mine suffer so much.Thank the lord for Buddy Flip.Buddy has the best personallity,the best outlook of any act I work with.I enjoy his company,hes a true Pro and I always not only learn something new everytime from watching him but he helps put this shit into perspective.Buddy did an outrageous job working(and yes it was work)the room.It was like throwing a comedy show in the saloon on Deadwood.We got thru it relatively unscathed.Owner was a little upset that show was 70 minutes instead of 90 minutes but shit we were lucky it lasted that long with no casualities.(comedy casualities) Usually when a show is over you can say well at least we had fun or well at least it paid well.Not last night all you could say sfterwards was at least its over.Of course I took another date there in January.Why because Iam CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
