Hello there, I'm writing to let you know about a new project that I'm working on in my rare moments of spare time from Au Revoir Simone. It's called Uninhabitable Mansions. Uninhabitable Mansions is an art collective and a band. The band involves me, Robbie and Tyler from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Doug Marvin from Dirty on Purpose, and Chris Diken from Radical Dads. We have three things to talk to you about, and we'll keep it quick. 1. The debut album Nature Is a Taker, Uninhabitable Mansions' first full-length album, is finished. You can get the digital version right now and pre-order a physical copy for end-of-October delivery. BUY IT! 2. The fall tour To celebrate the album's release, UM is playing some shows in October. The tour will hit New York, Boston, and a few other very nice cities. If you scroll down to the bottom of this email, you can get the details. UM is also planning to go on a more extensive tour in 2010. Should we come to your city? Let us know! 3.
