Just a quick note to say goodbye to one of the finest American actors that ever lived. Paul Newman didn't always make great movies (Quintet, anyone?) but he did always give great performances.

I'm gonna spend the next six hours with Cool Hand Luke, Slap Shot, and Road to Perdition.

We'll miss you, Mr. Newman.

Sad news. I remember him Fort Apache: The Bronx. The scene wherein he disarms the knife-wielding crazy guy is a classic.

Hating on Quintet? Really?
Wow, that film blew my 12 year old mind when it was released. I agree it's not the best film in his oeuvre, but its certainly unique.
