Hey Everybody,
This note is to check in and say I hope you're having a wonderful spring. My favorite quote of the moment is Robin Williams "Spring is natures way of saying 'Let's Party.'"

I've been home since January and this has been the first spring in a while that I've cooled my jets and gotten to see the season unfold. Nashville has been so beautiful and mild. As some of you know, I love to garden when I find the time and the evidences of seven years of work have been wonderful to see. Right now, the Tennessee state flower, the Iris, is in bloom and it is glorious.

On the music side of things before I digress too far, I want to congratulate my friend, Ashley Cleveland on her Grammy for Best Rock Gospel Album of the Year. We were in a duo together in college and it has been wonderful to watch her grow as a mighty powerful singer and songwriter. Her integrity is a real inspiration! If you haven't heard Allison Krauss and Robert Plant's new album, it's incredible. Dad has a song on that called "Stick with Me Baby," which was the B side of the Everlys' "Cathy's Clown." Cangrats to our friend Bobby Pinson who has the new Toby Keith single.

Closer to home – My brother, Sister, and I (our trio is informally called Wild Hare) have started writing a lullaby album. Now my baby is all grown up, but I love kids and we figured this would be as good of a reason to record together as any. Sister Carrie has been performing in New York and will be doing regional theatre until she joins Dad and me in the fall. She's going to start recording her second album next week and we're all excited. I'm mulling around some ideas for the next album, but between now and then I look forward to seeing you all on the road this summer. I was just looking over the calendar and starting to feel that wanderlust…

Love and Hugs

Pam,
Happy to hear you are enjoying some time off to "cool your jets" , you certainly deserve it!

It's been beautiful here in Redding, CA. We've been taking advantage and going on lot's of hikes to the lake with the dogs, working in the yard of course..which is a labor of love. It's been a wonderful spring.

Thanks for checking in. I hope to see you this summer.

Say "Hi" to Matt.

Pam 10-4 on Robin's saying. I sent out a blog last year called "Spring Has Sprung"! Check out myspace and you'll have to smile! I just moved into my new lake house and almost have all my "Honey Do's complete. I still have some serious power washing and landscaping, but once that's done then it's time for the "Redneck Yacht Club"!!!

Have a great sprng,
Larry

Spring is here in southeast Washington State. Where I am, it is considered the "Banana Belt" since it rarely snows and summers are extremely warm. We are gearing up for our oldest to graduate from high school next month - there will be tears of joy and tears of fear, but mostly just absolute pride as she walks up to get her diploma as part of the academic top 10%. :)

Glad to hear that you are taking some time off and getting to spend some quality time with family, as family is the most important thing in life. It isn't what you have, it is whom you have.

God bless and may you have an awesome year!
