It will be the garbage wars at the front of the field when the Camping World East Series takes the green flag for the Heluva Good 125 Friday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Thursday at New Hampshire it was Peyton Sellers, in the Casella Waste System sponsored car edging out Steve Park, in the Waste Management car, to win the pole for Friday's event.

Sellers, of Danville, Va., toured the 1.058-mile oval in 30.124 second (126.437 mph).

"No offense to Steve but I'm glad the Casella Waste System car knocked off the green and white car over there," Sellers said.

Park, a former regular in the Sprint Cup Series with Dale Earnhardt Inc., held the top spot for much of the session but had to settle for the outside pole with his lap of 30.177 seconds (126.215 mph).

"I wasn't as fast as Peyton," Park said when asked about his qualifying laps. "I was real loose. When they told me my speed on the first lap I kind of voided the second lap because I couldn't hold my breath that long. I told Peyton if he wanted to run faster than that he could have it. He did and got the pole and did a great job."

Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Mass., who won the Camping World East Series event at New Hampshire in June, was third fastest at 30.190 seconds (126.161 mph).

Whelen Modified Tour regular Matt Hirschman will make his Camping World East Series debut from the 17th starting spot. Hirschman is driving this weekend for Gillett Evernham Racing.

Series points leader Matt Kobylyuck will start 13th.
